American Prophet Response

For many decades Negros were misunderstood, jugged, and classified as uncivilized, as animals or godless people. They were set aside and killed. Oppressed by society and slaved. Through the passing years Negros have raised and have become respected men and women. But their ancestors have the perspective many of our grandparents never had.  Today they have the double vision of what their present and future has become but how their past has come so far.  The first vision is form how white folks treated them, with no respect.  It was such a cruelty it sometimes seems as the white men did not have any type of conscious of what they were doing to these humans, but the unbelievable part was that they were aware, but completely ignorant and blind-sided. I am glad that today the Negros can express their awful past and teach their life experiences but particularly to those who overlooked and did not realize that they were humans but a different race.  The past is never forgotten; it will always be in their roots and soul.  They have learned from their enemies and form America. The Negros have an entire generation to teach and pass on history. The world needs to understand the point of view these young men and women went through their life.  They have an incredible wisdom and life lessons to teach and many, including me, have that desire to learn from those experiences and history.

These experiences have defined their manhood and inner strength.  It has shown society how prosperous and rich their culture is. Their fighting days are still to be ended because sadly there are still stereotypes and judgments to encounter, but they have demonstrated and reaffirmed that they are strong and willing men with aspirations and goals as very one else.  It has been an extensive journey and their character has demonstrated more than courage and dignity, but devotion to a better today and tomorrow. As De Bois says he does not want to Negros and white men to have any type of conflict, he just wants respect and the especially to have the same opportunity as other races.
